Walk to School Day – October 9th

Despite the dreary weather, MGWS students and staff came out in droves to walk to school! Crowds of students and staff could be seen strolling the sidewalks along Academy Street.

Once at school, all were invited into the cafeteria where Mrs. Visciano and Mrs. Higgins served up warm hot cocoa.

All in all, it was a great way to start the day and end the week!

    What a great picture! I think having a Walk to School day is a wonderful idea!

    I agree, it’s a great way to show children that exercising can be fun!
