Today’s warm temperatures and changing leaves were a perfect setting for “Wlak to School Day”. Central School students were dropped off at MGWS and MGWS students were dropped off at Central, and the hike down Academy Street was on!

On Friday, October 31st, the PTO sponsored an ice cream smorgasbord for the families of MGWS. Parents and teachers dressed up and served…students dressed up and ate!

Despite the dreary weather, MGWS students and staff came out in droves to walk to school! Crowds of students and staff could be seen strolling the sidewalks along Academy Street.

Once at school, all were invited into the cafeteria where Mrs. Visciano and Mrs. Higgins served up warm hot cocoa.

All in all, it was a great way to start the day and end the week!
